Ghulam Mohammed Khan was an excellent guide and everything was very well organized. I would have no hesitation but to recommend Adventure Tours Pakistan to any other Television Production company on future projects."

"Dear Ashraf Aman, dear Naiknam, Sultan, Manzoor and Firdous, Instead of giving a speech at our farewell dinner, I am writing this e-mail to express my heart- Felt thanks to all of you. First of all, I want to say that I am very grateful to ATP for making both my treks possible for me: The Hindu Kush route in the Chitral and Gilgit areas, along the Wakhan Corridor, across Remote passes, rivers and glaciers, and the Karakoram route in the Shimshal area, also unique in the beauty of its scenery and the kindness of its local people. You did everything to make these treks not only safe and smooth but to actually make them The “dream tours” Sultan, in your quiet and modest way, you were a 100% responsible and considerate guide, An excellent pathfinder, negotiator with the porters and guardian of your client. Firdous, you worked wonders in adapting to my vegetarian, coffee-drinking, porridge-and- Honey-loving, Saltish-tea-preferring and otherwise peculiar eating habits. Not only were you an excellent cook, but you looked after me in a truly wonderful way. This, to me, has been a very special experience. So many Europeans have stayed away from Pakistan this year, believing they would take too Great a risk. They were shown TV reports and saw newspaper articles and heard warnings from politicians and thus have acquired an idea of Pakistan which I have found to be strongly Biased and unjust. Not a single minute in these northern regions did I feel threatened or un- Protected. On the contrary, I experienced the most unforgettable moments of support and Friendship there.

I will come back next year.

Love,
Christiane"

Eure Christiane

Dear Ashraf Aman
I am sorry that we left a day earlier and missed you. We had an absolutely wonderful trip which will stay in the memory forever. For three reasons. One your well trained and professional staff, secondly for the excellent services and thirdly for the weather was absolutely wonderful.

My very best regards.

Mr. David Halmin
Producer Explorer Journal

Says, "dear Ashraf, thank you very much for a great trip"! He was making a documentary on Heidi Howkins expediton to K2.

"My experience with ATP was absolutely fantastic.  I would highly recommend ATP's services and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.  Our guide, Bhag Shukrulla was fun, friendly, a knowledgeable guide, and always willing to accommodate our needs and interests.  He was generous enough to allow our group to stay with his family at his home in Hunza for two nights after our trek.  The porters were equally hospitable, and our group enjoyed a wonderful time with everybody.  The K-2 trek/Gondogoro La pass is certainly a highlight of my life.  The remote northern region of Pakistan is unequivocally unsurpassed in sheer beauty.  It's an adventure of a lifetime, one someday I hope to repeat again with Adventure Tours Pakistan.  Best wishes to ATP and Pakistan."

Sincerely, Collin Downey, USA

Dear Ashraf Aman and my other friends of ATP,

because of the K 2 Golden Jubilee Radio Deutsche Welle sent me to Pakistan in Summer 2004 to report about Chogori, the „king of the mountains“. I made a trekking tour to K 2 Basecamp organized by ATP. From the very beginning of my trip I felt in good hands. Everything was arranged professionally. Problems like providing busses to the Northern Areas after flights had been cancelled were solved quickly. The ATP staff in Islamabad and also in the northern town of Skardu was very competent and friendly. During my trek to K 2 Basecamp and back crossing the Gondogoro La I was in charge of ATP guide Syed Muhammad Akbar and ATP cook Fida Ali. Both were friendly, competent and reliable. Even on the Baltoro glacier in temperatures of 15 degrees Celsius below zero Fida produced delicious meals as if by magic. At any time I felt safe and in good company. Thanks to ATP I found new friends and will always remember my trip to K 2 Basecamp as a great adventure in a unique mountain area. I can recommend ATP to everybody who plans to go to Pakistan for trekking or mountaineering.

With warm regards from Germany

Stefan Nestler (sports editor of Radio Deutsche Welle, Bonn, Germany)

After more of 15 years of joint adventures with Adventure Tours Pakistan I consider you a trustworthy friend.  Adventure Tours has always provided a great service and has played a very important part in helping to make distant dreams a closer reality.  Everyone at ATP has not only helped me to achieve my objectives like Nanga Parbat 1990, GII 1994 and K2 2004 but has always enjoyed my successes as true friends.

In 2004 I arranged logistics and permits with Adventure Tours Pakistan for Broad Peak and K2.  I am happy to report that the service ATP delivered was exceptional. Accommodations, transportation, permits, porters, cooks and base camp services were arranged and delivered on time as promised. I can recommend ATP as a professional tour agency and intend to work with them again in the future.

I personally really appreciate efficiency and kindness from ATP's staff when I was in very difficult circumstances I don’t hesitate to recommend this organization

The team at ATP organized all of my logistics for trips to K2, Broad Peak (2002) and Nanga Parbat (2004). I strongly recommend that you work with this team of dedicated, caring and intelligent professionals. Any trekking agency can provide the simple things, but when things go wrong (deaths, political unrest, etc.) you need the team with the best connections and infrastructure to cover your butt. There is no team in Pakistan with more resources at their finger tips.

My experience with ATP was great the attention to detail on every single aspect of the expedition quick problem solving when it was needed and it made my experience in Pakistan one of a kind.

I can’t wait to come back to Pakistan; for sure I will travel with ATP on my next expedition to Nanga Parbat.

Thanks so much.

I traveled with Field Touring Expeditions. We engaged the talents of ATP to assist us during our climb of Mt. Spantik. I must admit that the efforts of the ground staff, including the kitchen team, were above and beyond the call of duty. Indeed the quality of food that we enjoyed at base camp was considerably better than food consumed in restaurants in Islamabad.

The high altitude climbing staff performed in a very professional manner indeed and ensured that we remained safe on the mountain. Their strength in load carrying has to be seen to be believed. In short, I can confidently say to would be trekkers and climbers, that to ensure the smooth running of their expedition, it would be eminently sensible to engage the talents of a very professional company to assist them in their goal-and that company is ATP.

Yours Sincerely

Tony Breen

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCEARN

We were a group of six mountain climbers with the Austrian mountain guide Siegfried Wasserbauer, who wanted to make the Nanga-Parbat-Trekking. It was understood, that it would be a difficult project because it was so close to the Indian boarder and on the other side we would have to find enough porters, especially because we were forced to change them four times. This would have been impossible to do without experienced guides.

It is very important to us that we give this superior recommendation to the local tour guide Mr. Karim Akbar, who has vast knowledge about the culture of Pakistan and gave us a depth view into this culture. He was very successful in organizing our tour and made it an experience that none of us will ever forget.

The mountain guide Mr. Abdul Hameed Khan, who was responsible for the porters, had a great responsibility and with his experience to motivate the porters he was a great help. He was able to take care of all problems that arose and insures that here were no troubles with the porters. He has an immense amount of knowledge and treats all his customers with respect and compassion.

Last but not least I must mention  to you, that the chief-cook Mr. Arschat and his assistant Mr. Manzoor were a great team, they were always friendly, and tried their best to prepare the best meals for us, even under the worst conditions. They were very patient with us, even though it wasn’t always easy for them with some of the members of our group.   Special thanks also to ATP who put all this kind and experienced people to our disposal.

I must apologies at how overdue this e-mail is but I have had a lot of trouble with my e-mail account and I have spent the last 3 months in Kashmir & Ladack in India and the Everest region where I haven't had access to the internet.

I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to all of you at ATP for organizing an amazing trek for our group in August last year to the Baltoro Glacier (K2 Base Camp) and Gondogoro La. Words cannot describe how wonderful that area is and also the rest of Pakistan!

Our guide Salman Ali was very professional, helpful and had everything organized at all times and was a great man, very knowledgeable of the Baltoro region.

I would also like to say at how impressed we were with the quality of food and the cooking of Habib and his assistant Kareem, the food was always varied and delicious and no one got ill, for foreigners in an Asian country this is almost unheard of!!

Also, the porters were fantastic! Very very helpful and extremely efficient! And good fun, we spent many nights singing with them and talking.

Everyone in the group was really happy with the trek, especially as were all budget travelers and you were the cheapest country in Pakistan! I hope to have website setup in the near future (when I have the time) and would be pleased if you would allow me to advertise your company on it with you logo and a link to your website.
